So apparently, I have a thing for grey kitchens...

Monday, August 19

If you've been reading this blog for awhile, you may recall that my friends bought a hydrostone here in Halifax and they've been working on it over the last few months. Well, friends, their kitchen is ready to share and I am SO excited for you to see it.  But first... here's what it looked like when they moved in:
And just look at it now...
Isn't it STUNNING?! We had actually talked about doing the kitchen in their old house like this, thanks to this inspiration photo - so I was super excited to learn that they planned to carry that idea over to their new house. And now, I'll get out of your way and let you drool over these gorgeous photos...
Cabinets are original but painted.
Upper cabinets are White Dove and lower cabinets are Gray 212110.
Both by Benjamin Moore, colour matched to Dulux paints.
Backsplash is white subway tile.
Brick was underneath the drywall and exposing it was one of the first things they did after moving in.
All countertops are concrete.
Amazing industrial pendants are Home Depot.
Crate is vintage and was made by my friend's family!
I love how transformed the space feels. It's so bright and airy. I pretty much want to move right in. You guys are looking for someone to rent your spare bedroom, right? Right?

  5. This is a fantastic space! We looked in the Hydrostone area because that's where our old condo was... I miss it there so much!
