Just keep pinning...

Thursday, April 25

I'm addicted to Pinterest. It's a ridiculous form of entertainment, I realize. But I love it none the less. I think it's because I'm such a visual person. I'm constantly inspired by all the gorgeous photos. (Orrr maybe I just procrastinate. A lot.)

Unfortunately, there's a lot of crap on Pinterest. The things people pin. Ridiculous. Don't even get me started on my Pin Now, Read Later rant. So aggravating. Anyway, I thought I would share a few of my fave accounts to follow, in case you're a fellow pinaholic and looking for quality pinspiration.

Jamie Meares. This lady is one of my favourite bloggers, over at i suwannee and I love her taste. Very distinctive and loads of fun.

Emily Henderson. HGTV star but relatively new to me. I adore her, her blog, and pretty much everything she pins.

Sally + Molly. The duo behind the blog, A Piece of Toast. I actually found them because Jamie Meares was repinning from them. From there, I found their Pinterest account and then the blog. Great inspiration.

Abby Unrath. To be perfectly honest, I have no idea how I stumbled on her account. I don't even think she has a blog. She has a crap ton of pins though. And she's constantly pinning content that's new to me - which I love. Way too often people pin the same images over and over.

Bryn Dunn. Bryn writes a blog as well (blogs and Pinterest have significant overlap, haha). From her blog, I assumed her style was much more traditional than my own, but as it turns out, I love the stuff she pins! Maybe I'm more traditional than I realized.

If you want to follow my Pinterest account, you can find me here.

  1. I hate that "pin now, read later" nonsense. It always leads to a dead link! I'm also a big fan of Honest Toddler.

    1. I know, right?! I think the other thing that bothers me about "pin now, read later" is WHY ARE YOU TELLING ME THIS? Like, if that's what you intend to do, fine. But why do you feel the need to advertise it to everyone who follows you? Are you justifying why you pinned it? If so, maaaaybe you shouldn't have pinned it. Sigh. I think I might be inappropriately rageful about this, haha. Thanks for letting me vent ;)

  2. I've never understood the Pinterest craze, but I love the tweet you posted, haha. I found you through the Blog Hop and would love a follow back. Looking forward to reading more from you!

    1. Haha, thanks Heather! I know, Pinterest can be a little nuts. I know some people use it as a place to bookmark items/ideas/sites that they like, others use it for project inspiration/recipes, and MANY others use it just to zone out for extended periods of time, haha. It has its uses, but some of them make less sense than others...

Will absolutely check out your blog. Thanks for stopping by :)
